Job Description

As a Business Development Specialist at the Country Channel Management Team in Thermo Fisher Scientific Korea, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, and supporting the expansion of our current business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, including emerging trends and competitive landscape analysis.Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence and increase sales through channel partners.Build and maintain positive relationships with existing channel partners and identify potential new partners to improve distribution networks.Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint business plans and promotional activities to drive mutual growth.Supervise and analyze sales performance data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize channel strategies and improve overall business performance.Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential and existing channel partners.Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to identify potential impacts on business operations and opportunities for growth.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and results.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field or equivalent experience.5+ years of validated experience in business development, preferably in the life sciences or related industry.Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Korean, fluency in English is plus Experience with B2B marketing and sales strategies is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in life sciences industry.Proven track record of successfully managing business development projects.Strong network within the industry
