We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Business Compliance Manager reporting to Risk and Business Management Team in Hang Seng Insurance Company (“HSIC”), the Business Compliance Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Group Financial Crime Policy and ensures all related controls are effective and implemented within target completion date. The Business Compliance Manager is also expected to collabratively work with other stakeholders (incl. Global Insurance, Financial Crime Compliance, WPB, ORM, Insurance Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Third Party Risk etc.).

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Support HSIC Risk and Business Management team to properly manage Financial Crime Risk “FCR” matters (incl. CDD, Sanctions, Screening, Transction Monitoring, etc.) and all related items (Risk and Control Assessment, Continous Monitoring Programme, issues and incidents management)Being the local expert on CDD to production and project stakeholders Manage and implement CDD related initiatives and projects in accordance with the business model and risk appetite. Ensure plans, projects and expected performance is delivered within the timelineDrive customer centric and operation efficient CDD process and workflowSupport the maintenance and update of procedure manualsPerform gap analysis and read-across related to CDDHandle regulator enquiry and internal assurance / auditManage the onboarding, periodic review and trigger review for customers for PAO and non-PAO customers for individuals, trust private investment companies, and entity customers according to the Group and Local standardsPerform CDD activities (e.g. AAR, NNS) to cope with operational needsPerform QAQC and Continous Monitoring Programme / ActivitiesHandle Book of WorkProvide MI for management oversightSupport ad-hoc tasks as required
