Background& Purpose of the Job
We are searching for an experienced Brand Manager to lead and own a high-profile and exciting new initiative for the NA Dressings category: Front-of-House. This role is focused on the Hellmann’s Mayonnaise brand, the biggest brand and category for UFS North America with strong momentum in sales, share and margin growth. Front-of-House (FOH) represents an enormous opportunity for the brand, both as a largely untapped source of volume and a critical channel for building brand power and connections with young consumers/diners.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of an exciting trajectory for the Hellmann’s brand and a key strategic growth platform for UFS North America, touching every aspect of the marketing mix from commercial strategy to innovation to communications.
Who You Are and What You'll Do
In order to win in this competitive space, you will need to bring a strategic, entrepreneurial, can-do attitude and be highly proficient in project and stakeholder management. A strong degree of familiarity with brand communications, digital tools and innovation process is also required.
Responsible for driving the Hellmann’s Front-Of-House strategy, innovation roadmap and commercial plans.Innovation and Renovation Project Management and delivery: develop the flavored mayo roadmap and go-to-market strategy.Insights and Culture: work with Insights and Culinary to keep our collective fingers on the pulse of what’s trending in food culture and entertainment to bring exciting new offers to operators that drive traffic and buzz. Own the FOH P&L, budget and sales/share performance.Work closely with Operator Marketing to deliver best-in-class sales support materials and operator-specific marketing campaigns.Analyze and optimize the Hellmann’s FOH business model to enable sustainable and margin-accretive growthDevelop B2C2B communications strategy and campaigns to generate demand for our FOH offeringWhat You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s desired5+ years International Marketing experience requiredBrand / Category management experience requiredInnovation & Renovation project managementStrong financial acumen including experience managing a P&LCommercial acumen: Deep understanding of sales/marketing funnels, operator pain points, pricing strategy & trade/marketing investmentNeed to be a natural go-getter and love getting things done. You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and do what’s best for the operator (customer), diner and ultimately, the business. Able to work independently and proactively while knowing when to reach out for support from your manager and the broader team.Consistent track record of creating effective (persuasive & engaging) brand content with measurable impact on brand and businessExternal orientation, staying on top of competitors and seeking inspiration for trends and opportunities Relentless growth mindset and drive for winning in the marketplace, constantly looking for opportunities to grow the businessStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to network and build relationships with key stakeholders & cross-functional business partners within a large matrixed organization, as well as external agenciesCapacity to oversee and track multiple projects with due dates and varying requirements and prioritiesExperience in and/or demonstrated passion for food and diningProficiency with syndicated performance tracking data platforms (Circana, Nielsen, Direct Link)Note that this role is office-based, with a minimum of 2 days per week required in the Hoboken office with Tuesdays being our mandatory ‘anchor’ day where we come together as a team.To apply for this job opportunity, you must:
