Meaningful Work From Day One
The position scope is to positively influence company behavior through all elements of Marketing & Channel Mix by identifying insights from various data sources. This position is responsible for delivering market trends analysis, issuing key insights into a what / so what mindset, in close co-operation with the marketing, trade marketing & sales teams.
What You Can Expect
The Brand & Business Insights (BBI) Analyst demonstrates a strong performance-driven / result-oriented mindset and acts as a solution-seeker to inform sustainable long-term growth for Brown-Forman. This role will support both France & BeLux markets and will report into the BBI Manager France & BeLux based in Paris.
Identify consumer, shopper and category insights based on all available sources
Track market trends and consumer behaviors of beverage categories, Brown-Forman brands and our competition
Identify root causes, deliver thorough diagnostics to inform upcoming B-F performance
Create and develop reports based on available market data
Be the day-to-day contact liaison for all continuous insights’ agencies
Supports annual brand and channel planning
What You Bring to the Table
Education: Master’s degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent); Marketing, Economics, Enterprise management, Statistics
Experience: 4-5 years’ experience (including internships) in a marketing environment, preferably in the FMCG industry
At least 3 years’ experience in data analysis (research agency, data analytics, insights) working with research tools & data analysis
What Makes You Unique
Best-in-class analytical capabilities, with proven track record of using quantitative and/or qualitative data sources (in the fields of consumer, shopper and/or category research)
Ability to translate large data sets into actionable insights, to simplify complex data reports
Experience and confidence to present to large groups and engage his/her audience
Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with knowledge of other MS Office / Google applications / Tableau
Experience with Nielsen or Circana software is a plus
Experience within the Beverage or Spirits industry is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Collaborative team player, who is adaptable, flexible, and resilient
Curious mindset, with an ability to challenge the status quo and an ongoing desire to learn
Self-starter with the ability to identify and solve problems
Storytelling skills, ability to engage people and influence
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and keep calm under pressure
