Job type: Full-time, 2nd Shift.

Shift Schedule: 1:30 PM-10 PM. 

Type of role: On-site; Entry Level

Pay Range: $22/hr

What You'll Do:

Operate braiding machines within a cleanroom environment, using knowledge and experience to operate in a safe, environmental responsible, and efficient manner. 

 

What We're Looking For:

Performs machine inspections throughout the shift and performs necessary troubleshooting per SOP.  Performs tasks assigned to operations. Daily review of work braiding schedule.  Track of inventory; updates braiding inventory regularly. Enters Gather Data In QAD.  Ensures spool changeovers are done in a timely manner.  Updates excel braiding inventory daily and keeps up to date spool and lot numbers, ending dates and footage.  Accurately and completely records all spool and bobbin changeover paperwork.  Monitors key unit metrics in braiding Excel spreadsheet to ensure plant performance remains on track to achieve unit and business goals. Routine quality checks on braided parts (pick count) to ensure machines are running within specification.  Develops the skills and competencies required to perform the role of a braiding technician.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Strong safety mindset; ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout 8 hour shift. Additional physical requirements include lifting up to 50lbs. throughout shift. Experience working in an medical, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse,  or similar hands-on environment is a plus. Experience with QAD is a plus. Experience in a Clean Room is a plus. Expeience with Microsoft Office applications is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Requires use of appropriate PPE, Personal Protective Equipment, to fulfill safety requirements Physically able to pick up spools throughout the shift Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand for long periods Comfortable working in a noisy environment (Hearing protection will be required) Willing to work overtime, if needed
