BAD Lead (Bank Acceptance Draft)

As a BAD Specialist you will be reporting to the Credit Control Manager and will be based at UOA Shah Alam.

Main Responsibilities

To help develop and improve business operation and management methods of BAD.

Implement and enforce standardized PPG Credit Policy for the business throughout the region.

Close communication with Business Team: Reliable information exchanged among Business, Treasury, Procurement and BAD team on draft management.

Handle bank acceptance draft (BAD) accurately with identify and prevent with risk of BAD.

Responsible of processing on receiving BAD according to BAD policy in BAD acceptance.

Follow up the accounting processing of the BAD and complete the reconciliation of the account in timely with coordination with AR team on the receipting.

Work closely with Procurement team on transferring out BAD to vendor.

Responsible on BAD discounting procedures in accordance of the acceptance business management regulations, procedures and operation.

Provide timely and reliable analysis of BAD performance report to the Business to assist them in understanding the direct impact of the BAD collection against Sales.

Liaise with Treasury and beneficiary bank on BAD discounting.

Qualifications

At least advance diploma holder.

Fresh graduate with been internship in banking/finance and relevant industry field would be preference.

Be familiar with the business & operation mode of accepting bank acceptance draft, discounting business.

Be familiar with the relevant regulations and management system of bank acceptance draft, policy and bank acceptance draft business operation process.

Organized, analytical and able to work under pressure and long hours when needed.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in verbal and written English and Mandarin

Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and challenging environment

You should be computer literate with knowledge in MS Office applications
