Associate Salesforce Developer

As an accredited institution, we partner with educators across the world to create global education programs that blend classroom, digital, and experiential learning for students.  On the Enablement team you will join a group of engineers, product professionals, analysts, and UX/UI designers that build the applications and systems that make travel happen. We enhance every step of our customer’s journey through a personalized experience to ensure we deliver the right tour for them. You will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge & experience in Salesforce to help our team build the foundation of our modernized CRM experience.  What you’ll do: Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lighting Components, and other development tools.Implement complex workflows, validation rules, and custom logic to meet specific business requirements.Design and build scalable and reusable code and libraries for future use.Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using APIs and web services.Establish automated testing and observability capabilities to proactively ensure the performance, scalability, and security of our Salesforce org.Maintain and improve the performance of existing Salesforce applications.Develop and maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, processes, and training materials.Stay current with Salesforce updates and new features and assess their potential impact on the organization.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that support business processes.Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with organization policies and best practices.Provide constructive feedback to team members through code review and pair programming activities. Who you are:You align to at least 1 of these 3 profiles:You have 1-2 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer working with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning ComponentsYou are currently a Salesforce Administrator with a passion for development and have 6-12 months working on more complex, development related projects in your current roleYou have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science with experience in/knowledge of JavaScript, relational databases, object oriented concepts, GitHub and CI/CD, and any UI frameworks like angular or react. Bonus points for any Salesforce experience.You have an strong familiarity & understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and want to be able to design scalable and robust solutionsYou have a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, development methodologies and release management.You have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.You have knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and GraphQL APIs.You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.You have one or more Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II), with a commitment to ongoing professional development.You have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.A proactive approach to learning new technologies and a passion for continuous improvement.Strong communication skills working with cross-functional team members and technical and non-technical stakeholdersFluency in EnglishWhy you'll love working with us:People at EF make things happen.
