JOB SUMMARY:
A key member of the retail team, the Associate Product Manager is a critical facilitator for the execution of projects, planning and innovation, and the liaison for product line specific programs. Responsibilities include financial analysis, product life cycle management, assisting global Sales teams, and interaction with Supply Chain counterparts. The position requires collaborating closely with other members of the Product Management, Brand, Channel Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the management of products and brands; manage channel specific opportunities to deliver company revenue and profit.Maintain ongoing dialogue with Product and Sales teams on key product initiatives to ensure projects meet deadlines and customer expectations.Assist in the development and implementation of annual strategic plans.Work cross-functionally with Finance and Revenue Growth Management teams to drive analyses for use in product line management and new product development.Support development of pricing, positioning, and packaging for assigned products to maximize sales and profits.Solve problems by considering a wide range of possibilities with the ability to understand which solutions make the most sense for the business.Drive development of omnichannel marketing assets, packaging, support materials and selling tools, delivering on time and on budget.Assist with market research as needed to understand end-user trends and preferences, product line gaps versus competition, and emerging technologies.Update and proof websites for accuracy, facilitating changes with appropriate parties as needed.Assist with other product marketing efforts as assigned.INTEGRAL TO THIS ROLE: Management of assigned product lines and associated projectsFinancial analysisProduct line rationalization and analysisMarket research and competitive analysisPromotional evaluation and developmentOccasional travel required (up to 15%)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a marketing focus.Preference for a minimum of 1 year in a marketing or intern role.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex challenges in a demanding environment.Experience working with or leading cross-functional teams.Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
