**Principal Responsibilities**
The Business Manager will be responsible for the achievements of sales targets (and expense control) in establishing and implementing the sales strategy.
Specific responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:-
_Achieving business results (Sales, Market Share)_
+ Account Management – structure, allocate, and drive overall growth strategies across key accounts.
+ Support team to develop, implement and maintain account management plans to drive growth strategies for key accounts.
+ Develop business plans around identified business opportunities.
+ Develop budgets, and regularly reporting actual performance to budget, with variances analyses and revised projections.
+ Monitoring and reporting on the performance of distribution channels.
+ Review and analyses sales, unit to monitor sales achievements and identify opportunities across specific accounts and territories.
+ Monitoring sales and expense performance, and initiating corrective action where necessary.
_Model accountability and commitment to our customers and our colleagues through teamwork_
+ Desire for continual learning in our product range, our competitors’ products and keeping abreast of current standards of care in the marketplace.
+ Stay informed and keep the company informed of Convatec’s market position and other Business Unit opportunities as they arise.

_Execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business results_
+ Takes the broader business perspective into account when making decisions.
+ Negotiate sales agreements within organizational policy guidelines.
+ Create customer awareness, recommending product types and arranging and participating with product demonstrations.
+ Provide technical advice / product education to both customers and fellow colleagues.
+ Provide business to business representation at key local events.
+ Carry out market survey and gather important information on our products and competitors’.
_Cultivates Strong Business Relationships_
+ Establishes close relationships with external customers and utilises those relationships to strengthen a competitive position and performance.
+ Establishes, develops and maintains ongoing relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.
_Sales Leadership and develop people_
+ To uphold Convatec’s values and behaviours, build, coach, and develop a strong marketing presence within the local operations.
+ Demonstrate exemplary sales leadership.
+ Drive performance through coaching, mentoring and developing sales representatives, including overseeing the employees’ lifecycle and providing career development planning and opportunities
+ Development of a high-performing culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development
**Qualifications and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
+ At least 10 years sales experience in comparable industries, with knowledge of the Taiwan healthcare market including developments and trends
+ Able to develop and implement account plans and strategies to achieve sales objectives
+ Excellent sales management, motivational and persuasive skills
+ Supportive of colleagues to achieve shared objectives by encouraging collaboration, candor and open sharing of information and expertise.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and build strong professional relationships (holds a strong internal and external customer focus)
+ Excellent organizational and planning skills
+ Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation
+ Able to identify and articulate sales opportunities and risks
+ Comprehensive business knowledge in key account management and budgetary formulation and control experience;
+ Previous experience with sales tools including Customer Relationship Mgmt programs (CRM’s)
+ Proficient (Intermediate) in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
+ Committed to a high standard of excellence which includes working professionally and ethically
