What the day will look like
On assigned accounts, you will assist Construction & Infrastructure brokers with:
+ Verify, prepare, review and issue invoices, endorsements, binders and certificates of insurance to ensure their accuracy and completion in support of the team’s service plan;
+ Preparing and submitting marketing submissions to underwriters;
+ Processing new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions and cancellations;
+ Calculating adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance documents;
+ Communicating directly with underwriters to follow up or obtain additional information;
+ Reviewing & proofreading assignments, obtaining signatures & dispensing as appropriate;
+ Under the direction of the Broker, reviewing policy documentation to ensure coverage requirements have been met;
+ Request loss runs;
+ Update quote proposals;
+ Complete policy checklists;
+ Assist with benchmarking analytics;
+ Assisting with the co-ordination of renewal meetings and required presentation materials with the Broker, client service team
+ Assisting with claims analysis and helping to determine root cause of loss and loss ratio’s

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Minimum one (1) year of direct construction & infrastructure insurance experience required
+ Minimum one (1) year of Xpress experience;
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;
+ Client focused and confirmed relationship building skills;
+ Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
+ Meticulous attention to detail, refined social skills and the ability to multi-task;
+ Consistent record to prioritize opposing requirements and deadlines under pressure;
+ Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.
