Job Description
Rosewood Little Dix is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to assist with its ongoing growth and push for continued elevation. As Assistant IT Manager, you will be supporting the IT Manager in day-to-day operation of the resort’s IT infrastructure and be responsible for the team’s results during their absence. Additionally, you will be managing assigned IT projects, providing user training and support, as well as communicating with corporate office and coordinating contractors and suppliers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure (such as servers, network equipment, phones, computers, mobile devices, POS terminals, etc.) 2. Provide IT-related support for the guests and colleagues of the resort 3. Keep inventory and knowledge databases updated 4. Make sure IT-related policies are in place and being followed by all associates 5. Approach and coordinate contractors and suppliers 6. Drive forward projects and tasks assigned by the IT Manager, meeting deadlines and providing constant updates 7. Participating in disaster recovery situations 8. Cooperate with corporate team, to stay in line with standards, policies and procedures 9. Keep the infrastructure and its premises clean and organized 10. Continuously develop IT-related and personal skills 11. Fulfill other duties during day-to-day operation of the team

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
1. A minimum of four years of experience in Luxury Hospitality and Assistant IT Manager or Supervisor position. 2. Bachelor’s degree in IT field 3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft environment’s administration (AD, GPO, DNS) 4. Strong knowledge of Network technologies (HPE Aruba / Cisco), L2-L3 switches, Wi-Fi controllers 5. Deep understanding of Oracle PMS and POS software (including interfacing with different systems) 6. Proven track record of success in the implementation of IT Projects 7. Ability to maintain virtual infrastructure (VMWare) 8. Excellent troubleshooting skills (including but not limited to desktops, mobile devices, printers, networks, etc.) 9. Experience with Linux, PBX (Mitel), CCTV (Milestone) and IPTV systems 10. Knowledge of Barracuda backup solution and Book4Time SPA management software is preferred
