This position will start in October 2025 and continue through the summer season.
About the role:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for:
Being responsible for the daily running of the Front Office department in the absence of the Front Office Manager; Working closely with the Front Office Manager on recruitment, mentoring and training the reception team; Meeting with and assisting guests, ensuring a unique and memorable experience; Monitoring and responding to guest feedback Liaising with the accounts team regarding invoices and payments; Ensuring all departments are kept up to date on reservations and guest requirements.
About you:
The successful candidate must be passionate, well presented, possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) and most importantly, will go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver a true luxury experience for our guests.
Minimum 2 years experience working in a luxury brand A superior working knowledge of a Property Management system (OPERA and MICROS will be a distinct advantage) as well as above average computer skills are essential. Experience managing guest itineraries and complaints Excellent communication skills (for inter-departmental coordination, ensuring a seamless guest experience) Experience of training and leading teams A winning smile and the ability to surprise and delight our guests!
This is a unique role and one that differs greatly from a typical hotel or resort Front Office role. High energy levels, attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are critical to your success.
