Sandvik Mining & Rock Solution, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has an opening for a Rock Tools Application Engineer – CPM.This position is based at Baroi (HZL) and will report to the CPM Contract Incharge, ROTO Division. He is responsible for managing Rock Tools in Shifts at Baroi Mines(HZL) and deliver world class customer support. This is accomplished by scheduling, planning, and executing the rock tools on contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

Complies with safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.Identifies and reports any unsafe work habits.Strives to find safer ways for customers to work with Sandvik’s products.Working in Surface & UG workshops as directed by reporting manager.Managing site team.Documentation, Report preparation and Record KeepingInteracting with Customers on daily basisPayment Follow-up and TrackingInventory ManagementTracking of Rock Tools performanceMonthly review meetings with the CustomerUG Site AuditsRock Tools selectionOperator TrainingsBit Re-sharpening & value-added services to enhance Rock Tools performance.Compliance to all EHS Rules & Guidelines is always ensured.Maintain and ensure housekeeping at workplace.Roster PlansMaintaining Grinding Machine with an availability of 90%.Troubleshooting of product failuresDigitalizing Contracts by implementing Track & My Rock Tool reports.

Your profile

Degree/Diploma with minimum 2 years of work experience in Mining & Tunnelling SitesDirect knowledge of the Sandvik Rock Tools is an added advantage.
