Job Description:

We are looking for an Applications Administrator II with experience in databases and API technologies to join our technology team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and migrating processes between different database environments, as well as creating interfaces for system integration. Additionally, they will participate in documentation development and evaluate the compatibility of current databases with new solutions.

Responsibilities:

Learn and understand the current state of the Cron Job data integration process, migrating from Oracle to SQL.Develop interfaces for the integration of new Brucker (SQL) units and their connection to the Nortrack database.Manage the creation, documentation, and standardization of key database administration processes.Evaluate the compatibility of the EPR database (Access Database) with SQL through API integrations.Gain a deep understanding of the Nortrack database schema and collaborate with the development team to optimize data structures.Act as an integrator between Nortrack (SQL) and AQR (Oracle) by creating APIs.Ensure proper communication and data transfer between different database environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system migration and optimization.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Oracle and SQL Server database administration.Knowledge and experience in data migration and database process optimization.Experience with API development and integration.Understanding of database schemas and table relationships.Experience in task automation using Cron Jobs and their migration.Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
