Under broad supervision, you will be responsible for projects related to the application of tax laws and primarily tax compliance matters. You will also maintain complete and accurate tax documentation and provide recommendations.

+ TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in relevant tax laws and regulations and tax compliance processes

**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Perform the calculation and control of Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and Social Contribution on Net Profit (CSLL), ensuring compliance with current tax regulations;
+ Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of IRPJ and CSLL payments, avoiding fines and penalties;
+ Reconcile accounting accounts related to direct taxes, identifying and resolving discrepancies;
+ Post tax-related journal entries, including provisions, payments, and necessary adjustments for IRPJ/CSLL;
+ Verify the accuracy and consistency of all ancillary obligations (DCTFWeb, ECD, ECF) with tax calculations;
+ Analyze and manage deferred taxes (assets and liabilities), evaluating temporary effects;
+ Prepare and review information for submission of the ECF (Tax Accounting Bookkeeping), ensuring data integrity and consistency;
+ Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely information and documentation;
+ Prepare the tax-related sections of Financial Statements, reviewing and validating disclosed tax data;
+ Prepare cash preview reports and other tax reports to support financial planning with reliable tax liability estimates;
+ Stay current on tax legislation, identify tax-accounting differences and tax-sensitive transactions, conduct tax research, and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and applying tax laws, regulations, and case law to specific transactions and factual scenarios.
**Technical Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;
+ Solid experience in the tax area with a focus on Direct Taxes (IRPJ/CSLL);
+ Knowledge of ancillary obligations (ECF, ECD, DCTFWeb) and Brazilian tax legislation;
+ Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar);
+ Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI and Alteryx) is a plus;
+ Intermediate to advanced English proficiency is desirable.
+ Knowledge of international accounting practices and Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) regulations is a plus.
