The Application Developer and Support Specialist will design, develop, and support applications that drive business success and align with our core values. You will work closely with business partners and users to collect requirements and translate them into robust application architectures. You will Play a significant role to find opportunities for improvements within existing application and processes. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop high-quality AI applications using Python, using Large Language Models (LLM) through APIs and pythons Framework + Design and implement microservices powered by APIs, which may function as API gateways. + Develop complex applications incorporating both frontend and backend components. + Collaborate with business collaborators to understand their challenges and needs. + Ensure applications align with data governance and company policies while meeting business requirements and user needs. + Provide functional support to ensure applications meet evolving business needs and improve performance and reliability. + Propose new solutions and approaches to enhance systems and processes, Using AI and LLM concepts + Use prompt engineering to optimize AI model performance + Develop and integrate APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems. + Work effectively in a fast-evolving environment. + Present ideas clearly to leadership teams to secure investment and support. Qualifications : + Proficiency in Python. + Experience with AI, Machine Learning, LLM concepts, and prompt engineering. + Familiarity with AI frameworks : Langchain and Langgraph for LLM integration. + Experience with microservices architecture and API development. + Proficiency in developing full-stack applications using frameworks like Flask. + Proficiency in SQL. + Comfortable with large data manipulation. + Ability to lead projects effectively. + Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. + Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts. + Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment. + Strong team collaboration skills within an international ecosystem. + Excellent communication skills, including communicating ideas and convincing leadership teams for investments. + Proficiency in English. + Knowledge of the Azure OpenAI framework is a plus Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
