AEM Developer (1 Year Term Contract)

We are seeking a skilled senior Java Developer with extensive experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and good understanding of Spring Boot, REST APIs, SOAP services, and other backend Java technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications that meet our business requirements.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

·       Develop and maintain web applications leveraging Java, AEM, and Spring Boot technologies. ·       Design and implement new AEM components and templates based on business requirements. ·       Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. ·       Manage end-to-end deployment processes across IST, UAT, and Production environments. ·       Perform maintenance tasks including SSL renewals, service pack upgrades, and patch management. ·       Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to ensure system stability and optimal performance. ·       Provide support to content authors by addressing and resolving their reported issues. ·       Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. ·       Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.



 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ·       8 + Years of extensive experience Java development skills with deep knowledge of AEM architecture, including components, templates, workflows, and JCR. ·       Proficiency in OSGi, Apache Sling frameworks, and Adobe Coral/Granite UI for building scalable and customizable AEM applications. ·       Advanced frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and client-side libraries to create responsive, interactive user interfaces. ·       Experience integrating AEM with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML. ·       Proven ability to optimize AEM applications for high performance and scalability ·       Strong understanding of AEM security models, including permissions management and securing content and user data. ·       Expertise in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines

 

Nice to have skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure). Knowledge of microservices architecture. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
