Advanced Project Engineer

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will\nplay a key role in leading and managing advanced engineering projects in the\nAerospace Technologies (AERO) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) under the Aerospace\n(AES) business group. You will be responsible for overseeing the design,\ndevelopment, and implementation of advanced engineering solutions and\ntechnologies. The Senior Advanced Project Engineer will provide technical\nexpertise, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring the successful execution\nof projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders\nto drive innovation, improve processes, and achieve project objectives. You\nwill report directly to our Engineering Program Manager, and you will work\nout of our Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will\nimpact the company's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and\ntechnologically advanced aerospace solutions. Your technical leadership,\nproject management skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the\ncompany's success, reputation, and growth in the industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design and development of one or more of the Engine Controls\nportfolio’s products (engine valves, air and thermal systems, air turbine\nstarters, and cabin pressure control valves)
• Lead and manage advanced engineering projects from conception to\ncompletion 
• Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team members 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful\nproject execution 
• Design and develop advanced engineering solutions and technologies 
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations 
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline\nsuch as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in engineering with a strong knowledge of engineering\nprinciples, practices, and standards 
• Proficiency in engineering new product development and control account\nmanagement
