Program Summary

KBR’s Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army’s Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.

Job Summary

Prepare contractual agreements using current research methods and the knowledge of a requirement.

Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, ACC, legal team consisting of lawyers, paralegals, and office staff.

Ensure that the terms of contractual agreements written in language that is legally binding and in accordance with the desires of the PM.

Assist vendors to fulfill the terms of or to terminate contracts on mutually amicable terms.

Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations.

Clearly explain contract terminology to clients and other interested parties in simple, everyday language.

Self-monitor progress according to the schedule of completion to submit drafts and documents in a timely manner.

Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collect data and analyze program acquisition activities such as acquisition strategies, acquisition planning, and proposal analysis.Assist in the coordination and development of the Data Requirements to include Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and Document Summary Lists (DSLs).Ensure contract packages comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFARS), and other PM specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Assist in obtaining required reviews and/or approvals for contractual and acquisition documents.Review contracts for compliance with terms and conditions, resolution of problems/issues that arise during performance of contracts, reviewing invoices, and continuously reviewing contracts for accuracy of policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 2 years of experienceUS CitizenAble to receive Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years experience
