Cognizant Hiring ACI card & Merchant management Developers. Location: Pan India. Experience: 5 to 9 yrs **Job Summary** We are seeking a Technical Lead with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Unix Cobol and CMM - Back office. Experience in Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and ensuring the success of our projects. **Responsibilities** + Lead the design development and implementation of technical solutions using Unix Cobol and CMM + Back office. + Oversee the technical aspects of projects to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Ensure the quality and performance of the developed solutions through rigorous testing and validation. + Monitor and maintain the health of the technical environment addressing any issues that arise promptly. + Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical processes. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns. + Manage technical risks and issues implementing mitigation strategies as needed. + Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all technical activities. + Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation. **Qualifications** + Possess strong technical skills in Unix Cobol and CMM + Back office. + Have experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. + Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. + Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges. + Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. **Certifications Required** Certified Unix Administrator Cobol Programming Certification CMMI Certification Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
