Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Purchase request creation in tools for materials orders & Sample orders creatin to plant

Material shipment coordination between Bosch & customer locations

Maintaining lab equipment: Storage room maintenance, keeping equipment records, calibration coordination.


Procurement Support:

Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment.

Generate and process purchase orders (POs) in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies.

Supplier Coordination:

Communicate with vendors for order confirmation, tracking, and delivery scheduling.

Assist in evaluating supplier performance and supporting vendor audits.

Help maintain accurate and updated supplier records.

Inventory and Material Management:

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.

Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate inbound shipments.

Data Management and Reporting:

Maintain purchasing records, contracts, and pricing data.

Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.

Administrative Support:

Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.

Support document management (e.g., contracts, NDAs).

 

Help in budget tracking and purchase requisition follow-ups.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Any graduate (BSc, BA, B Com) with prior experience in supply chain

Experience :

3-5 years of experience in relevant Purchasing & Supply chain

Experience in service industry will be an addon

Mandatory/requires Skills :

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

MS Excel and data analysis

Communication and negotiation support

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes

Preferred Skills :

Experience in Microsoft office tools

·         Word à Creating documents, reports, letters, templates

·         Excel à Creating data tables, budgets, graphs, charts, pivot tables, reports

·         Ppt à Crating slides, reports

·         Outlook & Teams à Sending/receiving emails, scheduling meetings, managing tasks and contacts

Additional Information

Understanding of Basic Procurement Terms

·         PO (Purchase Order)

·         RFQ (Request for Quotation)

·         GRN (Goods Receipt Note)

·         Invoice vs. Bill

·         Lead time, Payment terms, Credit note, etc

Organizational Skills

·         Managing multiple tasks, schedules, and deadlines

·         Keeping documents and information structured

·         Prioritizing work efficiently
